Ray&Charles Eames (1950)

There is no piece that better embodies the meaning of the iconic word than the Eames chair. A coveted and always up-to-date piece, the chair was a real innovation in 1950 when it was initially launched and remains to this day the most well-known piece of modern design. The so-called base Eiffel Tower of the chair is a complex and graceful steel construction that manages to combine light, elegant shapes with structural strength.
